Providing mental health counseling to individuals across the lifespan.
We don’t rush healing. We honor its rhythm. At Healing with Hanna Counseling, I center your nervous system as both a guide and storyteller. We move at the pace of trust, gently attuning to your mind, body, and relationships. This is care designed around you: your needs, your timing, your wholeness.
Therapy at Healing with Hanna Counseling honors your full story, including your history, experiences, and emotions, while inviting gentle, trauma-informed mindful practices when they feel right for you. We slow down and listen deeply to what your body and mind are telling you, always moving at your pace. Every session is grounded in trauma awareness, compassion, and ethical care. It’s a space where you can be fully seen and supported without pressure to perform or fit a mold.
Trauma influences how we connect, protect ourselves, and navigate our environments. My approach honors those rhythms with compassion and respect. I meet you where you are, affirm your identity and story, and support your unique path toward healing. This is a space where regulation and resilience can grow naturally, at your own pace, held with kindness and understanding.
Therapy at Healing with Hanna Counseling is rooted in research and guided by curiosity, care, and presence. When receiving care here, you'll have access to evidence-based practices alongside space to explore the parts of you that don’t always have language. Together, we honor both the science of healing and the mystery of being human.
When life starts to feel like it’s coming undone, it doesn’t mean you’re broken. Often, it means something old is loosening its grip and something new is beginning to take shape. In this space, we move through the untangling with steadiness and care, listening for what’s ready to emerge.
You're not a problem to solve, you’re a person returning to yourself. Together, we can explore what got in the way of your truth, your connection, and your sense of safety, and we make space for something more aligned with your values and identity to take root.
Your healing will ebb and flow. It will pause, restart, and evolve. We honor that rhythm. There’s no rush to arrive. Just the invitation to notice, to feel, to remember what’s already within you.
On a personal note...
Therapists need therapists, too. I know this because I’ve been there.
For a long time, I believed I could hustle, self-criticize, people-please, and perfectionist my way into being a “better” person. I was praised for being productive, agreeable, and organized, but on the inside I felt misunderstood, disconnected, and painfully alone. I kept trying to become who I thought I should be, hoping everything would fall into place once I finally got it “right.”
Spoiler alert: it didn’t.
Sound familiar?
Holistic therapy cracked something open deep within me. Not in a polished, Instagrammable way but in a messy, sacred, life-changing way. Slowly, I found my way back to my body, to my intuition, and to the kind of relationships where I didn’t have to shape-shift to belong. I let go of perfection and learned to honor the parts of me that were tender, wild, and deeply wise. I started living like my needs mattered. I learned that I was always enough and never too much. That I am whole. That I am abundant.
Now, I’m here to help you discover those same truths for yourself.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (#MC61438616) in Washington State, practicing since 2022. I specialize in navigating identity, relational wounds, healing from trauma, anxiety, burnout, and the ache of becoming. I bring warmth, realness, and curiosity into every session, and I’ll always meet you with deep respect for the complexity of your lived experience.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, affirming, nervous-system-aware, and rooted in collaboration. I don’t believe in “fixing” people. I believe in honoring. In seeing what’s been carried. In listening to the stories your body tells. Together, we explore patterns, reconnect with inner wisdom, and create space for something more aligned to take root.
When it feels supportive, I offer gentle somatic and mindfulness practices (always as an invitation, never an expectation). Your therapy will be shaped by you, your pace, your values, your goals, your ways of knowing.
Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me gardening, practicing yoga, exploring tide pools, basking in nature, reading under a blanket with at least one cat, snacking on fresh fruit, or spending time with my dogs. I love weird art, wild weather, scary movies, spending time with people I love, and finding beauty in the in-between moments.
I grew up in the greater Tacoma area and earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Washington in 2018. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the disability community, a chapter that deeply shaped my belief in radical justice, access, and personalized care that meets people where they are. I went on to earn my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from City University of Seattle in 2023.
This is your official invitation to soften, to root, to come home to yourself. I’d be honored to be part of that journey.
